SISP Technologies (‘we’) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.  This policy (together with the Terms, Cookie Policy and any other documents we refer to in this policy or those Terms) set out how we will use your personal information and with whom it will be shared.  Please read the following carefully.

What information do we collect about you?

We may collect and process the following data about you (‘your information’):

We rely on the following lawful bases for processing your personal information: –

How will we use your information?

We use your information in the following ways:

  • to ensure that the Site’s content is presented as effectively as possible for you;
  • for our internal purposes, such as quality control, site performance, system administration and to evaluate use of the Site, so that we can provide you with enhanced services;

We collect non-personal aggregated statistics data about Visitors to the Site and traffic patterns.  Just to be clear, this information does not identify users in any personal capacity and we do not use this information to build profiles on individual users: it just contains generalised information about the users of the Site.

Where your personal information is stored

We have secure systems and processes in place to ensure the personal information you provide us is kept safe. 

Personal information you provide to us is stored on our secure electronic systems within the UK.  Your information may be transferred to one of our reputable service providers who may store and process this information outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We can assure you that we take all reasonable steps to ensure your data is handled securely.  We have appropriate agreements in place with our suppliers.

How long do we keep your personal information?

We only keep your information for as long as is necessary.

Your rights to access, rectify or delete personal information

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. This is known as a Subject Access Request.  We may request proof or your identity, this is to ensure we do not pass personal information to any else other than the person making the request.  We will aim to respond to such a request as soon as possible, but no later than one month after receipt.

If you believe any of the information we may hold is out of date or incorrect, we will rectify this. We will respect any request for personal information to be deleted.

If you wish to complain about the manner in which we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to a statutory authority. In the UK this would be the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Where do we transfer your information?

We will not transfer your information to, or store it, outside the European Economic Area (‘EEA’).

Please do not send us your information if you do not want it to be transferred or stored within the EEA. By providing your information to us you agree and consent to us storing your information within the EEA.

With whom do we share your information?

We may share your information with other organisations:

if we sell or buy any business or assets (as we may share your data with the prospective seller or buyer);

if we or substantially all of our company assets are acquired by another party, in which case your information will be one of the transferred assets;

with business partners, suppliers, sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter with them or you; and

if we have to share your information to comply with legal or regulatory requirements, or if we have to enforce or apply our Terms or any other agreements or to protect our rights, property or our customers, etc.  This may involve exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

We may share the non-personal aggregated statistics data about Visitors to the Site with third parties.

We do not send any personal information that we collect about you on the Site to any social media sites that you link to your account, e.g. Facebook, nor do we share that information with such sites.  We do not collect any personal information about you from those sites.

How do we keep your information secure?

All your information is stored on our secure servers.  

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure.  Although we will apply our normal procedures and comply with legal requirements to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted to the Site and any transmission is at your own risk.  Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act you have the right to see the personal information that we hold about you, whether collected through your use of the Site or through any communications that you have had with us. You have the right to access your information and should direct any request for your information to us at info@sisptechnologies.co.uk Please note that currently a fee of ten pounds sterling (£10.00) may be payable to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

You have the right to rectify your information by sending a written request to us at info@sisptechnologies.co.uk

You have the right to ask us not to process your information (or pass your information to other companies or organisations) for marketing purposes.  You can tick the appropriate box on the forms when we collect your information or later at any time by contacting us at 47 Albemarle Street London W1S 4JW.

If you have a complaint about how we have used your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by sending you an email with the modified terms or by posting a copy of them on the Site.  Any changes will take effect 7 days after the date of our email or the date on which we post the modified terms on the Site, whichever is the earlier.  Your continued use of the Site after that period expires means that you agree to be bound by the modified policy.
